Cross Conversation #483

Cross Conversation

“Come, my children, ...let me set you free,”
Arms stretched out across the tree,
“...death is bitter, but Life is sweet,”
Nails piercing through both hands and feet,
“Father, forgive them, …for they know not what they do!”
Crown of thorns piercing, piercing through,
“Come, save yourself, if you be King!”
The soldiers, the scoundrels, the persecutors sing,
“Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom…”
    Jesus giving up the ghost,
“Today, you shall be with me in Paradise!”
