Across the Miles
I travel by air, the wind so fair
under a sunny glare, fly to you I dare.
So far away I go, moonlight softly glow
stars plummet down to the silvery snow.
Light and darkness changing in sight
continue I fly with all my might.
Albeit wings feeling numb and tired
thoughts of you keeping me inspired.
From heavy rain I bathe, soaking me cold
all in mind is your image I'm longing to hold.
Down when I see you awaits realization
my flight is worth your loving affection.
