Poetic Verses
The Year
Wow! How quickly has this year moved along?
Before long all those day in it will be gone
But as always some things, did during the process did occur
That will increase those pages in the history book some more.
The harsh and disrespecting hands of this brutal recession
Has clasp a grasp on many of the world's nation
But what a terrible change it has caused in Greece
Causing its economy to wobble, being it is on some trembling knees.
Then we say the people of a land one governed by the Pharaoh
Deciding that there some changed may surely come to the fore
So they decides to get quickly to the heart of the matter
The result and agreement came, with the removal of the Prime Minister
But like a disease that seem to gain epidemic proportion
This wind of change was felt in another of the continent's nation
The leader there was more defiant and so fought quite bravely
It ended in his death, bringing an end to an era of tyranny
But something too having in all these leaders falling
The world too heard of the news of the death of Bin
Was it fate that all this happened and the two fell so closely?
It is well known that the two gentlemen were responsible for the death of many.
Then quite recently, lots in the world gave such great sobs
When they heard of the news of the passing of Mr. Jobs
What a contribution he made to the world of computer
In that period when it was being monopolized by another?
So as the year is so rapidly coming to an end
One can reflect on all that transpired over again
Then will come Christmas, the joys and the celebration
Followed by the New Year and making those neglected resolutions.
Before long all those day in it will be gone
