 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Purchased Price

All of the things that I can see,
And they are all lawful for me;
Letting me to do anything,
Whatever the day just might bring.

But not everything is good,
And so I wonder if I should;
If there is nothing for to gain,
And would only be done in vain.

Having control over my life,
Seems to fill me with so much strife;
The lusts do not give me the food,
For putting me in a good mood.

I would rather go and abide,
In God than to be filled with pride;
Knowing that pride is merely sin,
That corrupts us deep down within.

Sexual sin would be even worse,
That plagues a body like a curse;
Out of love two should become one,
Rather than lusting for the fun.

Be careful do not go astray,
Sexual sins merely stay away;
Think of all that you will forfeit,
Through the sins that you will commit.

 Because you were bought for a price,
Upon the cross through sacrifice;
Your body brings glory to God,
But a disgrace if it is flawed.
