Halloween

Pumpkins line windowsills glowing in the dark,
Candles burning inside them provide them with a spark,
Skeletons dangle with jittering creaky bones,
Halloween is all around so don't go out alone!

Crowds of excited children run down the street,
Everyone is dressed up from their heads to their feet,
The costumes are fantastic they get better every year,
My neighbors hang up decorations and feel the spooky cheer.

Creepy ghosts and witches with brooms and silver chains,
Ugly green zombies with blood bursting out their brains,
Graves disturbed with spirits who are not at rest,
Playing Peekaboo on Halloween nobody would have guessed.

For 31st October means spooks and ghouls and bats,
Mangled gooey body parts being eaten by hungry cats,
Halloween is creepy, but it's a fun and perfect time,
To go out dressed up as something from The Life Of Grime!
