So many are the ways in life to plan ahead
As we all live our life-
With it's work and play from day to day
And all it's worry and it's strife-
But how I feel so for those that do
Almost all for all in life so right-
And then of no fault of their own
They can lose the entire lot over night-
Via every single year of their life
Their best foot forward all of the time-
Love and consideration for family
All of the way right down the line-
Such dedication and hard work for years
Then after all right out of the blue-
Along comes a bush fire or the likes
And takes it all from them it's true-
It has one truly wonder so in life
When things like this happen come what may-
A soul having all their eggs in one basket
And something simply takes it all away-
One wonders where they get the strength
To do it all again once more-
To start again hard work and pain
For family and all that they adore-
Admiration alone does not cover it
Biting the bullet and carrying on-
After a lifetime of planning , working
For most of their life so long-
With all life's plans for the future
All the dedication and hard work galore-
And to see over night no fault of their own
It's taken away for ever more-
I've seen this happen in my travels often
Over many a year and a day-
And with all the understanding and heart ache
One thinks there has to be a better way-
The courage of those all involved with same
A soul could not find the very words to explain-
How they find the strength to carry on
And do it once more and all over again-
A very special kind of inner strength
Despite all that they've been through-
How very much I do admire them all ever so
How my heart and soul goes out to all of you-
