The Day I stole the Sun
Blackness,
beyond any dark imagination you could ever think of
I would say there was silence, but there wasn't.
Screams sounding like a caged banshee,
terrifying, spine chilling!
Sheer panic, terror, fear, so much fear….
Not even a silhouette for company
No guiding light, no hope,
a perfect nothingness
That dream of falling,
that gut wrenching slow motion drop into the abyss
That split second euphoria, of thinking..
‘I've won!'
Until you realise what you done?
You stole the sun!
