Threat of Fear
For many years of your life time is spent making plans
Very focused in thoughts of the mind, employing all you understand
But on your part there is some hesitation, as there is something lingering there
Letting yourself be overwhelmed as you become gripped by fear.
So now you sit in a quandary, feeling very unsure of the future
At each heartbeat this trepidation is getting deeper
Then you get so static and in such a state of inertia
Totally embraced in the arms muscled by fear's aura.
In life there is very little we can do in order to prepare
Because at any moment one can get gripped by fear
Like a stalker one may not see, by can sense it is near
Oh yes! Appearing so distance but too, yet it's there
No matter what some people may use put their fear on display?
And this could sometimes get matters to go their way
As some benevolent one may rush to their assistance
And they will use this to that effect in every instance
But some people can have such fear to the extent that there is trauma
And this would be labeled as have what is called a phobia
There are those who have such a morbid fear of water
This hydrophobia would not let them sail in any type of matter
But too fear can be planted in us in our year of development
On can see the residues in some children to a certain extent
As those year laced with those do's and don'ts of parents' protection
Can surface in some adults when they are faced; with a particular situation?
But in our living there is always that time to exercise care
Because no matter what lurking Is something that can precipitate fear
And if one does not desire to live a life always in the arms of trepidation
Then they must learn to confront those fears, devising a formula to deal with them.
