Thanksgiving Prayer

Thank you Mama with your dancing feet
A smile from you made my life complete.
Thanks Daddy for teaching your "little white angel" the meaning of love
And then reminding me from your home in Heaven above.

Thank you Stevie and Milt
For at night it seems
You are here to keep me company
In so many dreams.

Thank you doctor for saving my sight
Without you I'd be wandering through an endless dark night.

My sons, when you were small our house was like a zoo
And thanks because now I can always depend on you.

Thank you my grandkids for letting me know
That "Nana, you're awesome, we love you so."

Thank you Faron for teaching my adopted daughter Sally to love
And for guarding her carefully from Heaven above.

Thanks because at times of sadness and strife
My old friend Richie brings sunshine to my life.

Thanks dear friends on this poetry site
For reaffirming my Faith at Thanksgiving
That with God all is right.
