Who  Can  Heal  A  Broken  Butterfly
There  lives  a  rare, beautiful, little  butterfly
There  is  none  other  like  her, you  see  she's
One  of  a  kind, her  brilliant  colors, no
Place  on  earth, can  be  found

Her  exquisite, fragile  butterfly  wings  could
Not  take  flight, though  she  tried  day  and
Night, broken  hearted, one  day  she  asked
God, why  is  it  LORD, that  I  can't  fly ?

The  LORD  gently  lifted  her  up  in  his
Hand, touched  her  eye's  so  that  she
She  could  see, all  the  weights  she'd
Tried  to  carry, on  her  delicate  little  wings

A  pail  of  tears  teetered  on  the  edge  of  one  wing
Tears  she'd  shed  for  her  baby  butterfly, who'd
Broken  his  wing, Jesus  had  taken  him  home
When  he  saw  his  pain

God  rolled  back  the  sky, with  a  touch  of  his  hand
She  seen  him  in  glory, a  mirror  image  of  what  she
Had  once  been, he  was  drinking  in  nectar  from  the
Tree  of  life, his  continence, reflecting  Gods  love

On  the  other  tiny  wing, lay  her  torn  bleeding  heart
So  laden  with  sorrow, her  tiny  chest  could  no  longer
Hold  it, the  love  she  had  given  to  those  who'd
Shattered  and  disdained  it

The  peace  of  God  flooded  her  aching  heart, leaving
It  so  very  lite, he  showed  her  the  faces, of  those  he'd
Placed  in  her  life, the  love  she  had  given  them, was
All  given  back, suddenly  she  was  flying, flying  so  high.
