A Man of Hope
I can still obtain hope,
Keeping one thing in mind;
Wait it out and just cope,
God blesses and is kind.
We are not so wiped out,
For He has compassion;
And I can never doubt,
Or filled with depression.
It is new each morning,
Not worried of my fate;
God sends me forewarning,
His faithfulness is great.
He is my lot in life,
As I find hope in Him;
Even through midst of strife,
My fate does not look grim.
The Lord is good to those,
Who are willing to wait;
All because that you chose,
To pick the narrow gate.
It is good to still hope,
With waiting for the Lord;
You can see the full scope,
You will not be ignored.
It is good to endure,
Burdens on your shoulders;
For you do know for sure,
That He takes the boulders.
