What when it was introduced soon became an instant hit
Giving the owner the ability to make purchases and get cash with it.
Looking so impressive and decorative when displayed in the wallet
Yes this is called a credit card and it was made of plastic
Daily they are now within all types of people hands
And the banks are now even swamped more with demands
People now use this medium through which they are obtaining
Those things which they in many former years were denying
How quickly people get caught up in its alluring snare
As its convenience allows usage as such in many an area
How wonderful it was to make that card's swipe
Then sing the slip thus making the deer alright
To some it has become like a form of an addiction
Spending like there is that need to satisfy particular condition
And just like the behavior so depicted by an addict
They have stretched the funds to the maximum limit
Don't be surprise there are those who have so many
And believe me, having bitten into the so very deeply
Employing that method of using one card to pay charge on the other
One can be quite sure that such a system is passport to later bother.
