Mitch Hartley And The Sunkiss Chick©
I'm here wantin my gikey
can't think of anything to write,
may need a hankie
cause i may cry now all night.
I feel more myself it's true
when the pen flows free,
but boo hoo hoo
nuttin comin to me.
Well i reckon my mind needs breaks
that's what i hear anyway,
i'm not a machine for pity sakes
tomorrow's another day.
If i sit and ponder
something may come along,
i just happen to prefer
a poem in the making or sompin's wrong.
I'm S@L again for a moment in time
he was here leading me on,
on thru the spread sunshine
our journey since the dawn.
The dawn of a brand new morning
we sang and danced away the blues,
in the sunshine oh how we did sing
we had heaven to gain we couldn't lose.
Him Mitch and I owned Sunkiss
with his heart of gold,
like magic he flicked his wrist a never miss
it was paradise in his hold.
You ask why Mitch
that's odd i give him that name,
well it rhymes with hitch
for the star we'd ride on from....
where he came.
He came to earth on a star so bright
and took me to heaven above,
and when i took that flight
the destination was true love!
