Lord, with notice by mail, hearing is 12th of December
Biblically twelve is government perfection in number
Examples are number of disciples and tribes of Israel
May Your perfection in one hour phone hearing rule
Appeal documents returned not to deny my claim
But to review before resending with form it came
All exhibits are to have letter or number pre-marked
Copies to opposing party and then to Tribunal mailed
I have the right to an attorney to speak in my defense
But with the short time, I decided to forego the expense
Even if I found an attorney who would take a reduced fee
With mistakes I made, they may not want to represent me
Without attorney representation, I am not facing this alone
My child I am with you, I hear, and you are My very own
Lord, let my voice be clear so that all parties can understand
May each word I say be truthful and gracious by Your plan
Two witnesses I have asked willingly agreed to testify
Both have copies of my appeal which states reasons why
The Judge will contact them by phone anytime that hour
Special sisters in Christ who will be guided by His power
Lord, thank You for general advice I have received already
Most of all for prayer support of friends and church family
As I finish preparing final paperwork to mail before hearing
Begin speaking to the heart of the Judge by the Spirit's leading
Lord, You understand potential thirteen week penalty involved
Future unemployment benefits for same amount may be reduced
By Your authority let this hearing bring about complete resolution
Thank You for faithfully supplying all my needs in every situation
Lord, the outcome of the hearing will be in Your hands
I know nothing is impossible according to Your plans
You have already forgiven me for any wrong on my part
May the Judge grant me favor in the decision they impart
NOTE: Below is a timely devotional by Max Lucado which clearly
relates that God answers all our prayers, in His timing, even at
the moment we are least expecting it, if we hang in there and
don't give up. Reminders I needed to hear in my job search
journey.
Hang In There
By Max Lucado on 11/22/11 at www.maxlucado.com
Is anything too hard for the Lord? No!
Genesis 18:14
Hang in there. Don't give up! Is anything too hard for the Lord? No!
Just when you least suspect it—the God of surprises strikes again. God
does that for the faithful. Just when the womb gets too old for babies,
Sarah gets pregnant. Just when the failure is too great for grace,
David is pardoned.
The lesson? Three words. Don't give up!
Is the road long? Don't stop.
Is the night black? Don't quit.
God is watching. For all you know right at this moment … the check may
be in the mail. The apology may be in the making. The job contract may
be on the desk.
Don't quit. You may miss the answer to your prayers.
God is faithful—He's always on time.
