My 1st thanksgiving without him
i can barely see for tears,
Oh My Precious Faron
i was so blessed thru the years.
Remembering back going for a car ride
we'd play the radio and sing,
if you only knew how much i've cried
cause his voice doesn't ring.
Ring thru my life with sweetness
even when he would yell,
now it's deafening the silence
except for the raging fires of hell.
I wouldn't think to not wish you....
one and all
a happy thanksgiving....
my poetrypoem family,
but think of me talking to the wall
as i eat my heart out without his company.
