 The Lover deep in thought
So there he sat, contemplating…
The bare wind behind him, the ocean infront
Atop a cliff, cross legged and arms folded
Contemplating….
The smell of the sea and dew sodden grass
Enlightened his senses, his knowing
Eyes wet like the the ocean wind,
Like small slits on a castle wall
Hard, tough and yet so dangerous
As the black sheet of darkness
Held it's vertical stance in the horizon
A back drop against a blazing red sunset
The pale froth of the waves
Landing upon a white sandy shore
The blackness reminded him of her hair
The white paleness of her skin
And the burning sunset of his lust and love
For her, always for her….
Somewhere out there, across the ocean
That ever spreading blue wasteland
Like a sparkling glimmer of a crashing wave
Against the setting sun
Somewhere out there, she was waiting
For him to join her, in an eternal embrace
And so he sat, looking, waiting, contemplating
For his…………Spectres Bare.
