Dedicated Lives to God
In view in all that we do share,
Of compassion that God does care;
No longer let this world entice,
And be a living sacrifice.
Dedicate your life unto God,
Pleasing Him with honor and laud;
And worship Him like no other,
And fellowship with your brother.
Your brother is a believer,
And a salvation receiver;
Who has been given a new birth,
No longer a part of this earth.
They had changed the way that they think,
Because of the blood that they drink;
That is coming from their Savior,
So God looks on them with favor.
Then you know of His desire,
When His Spirit you acquire;
Just what is pleasing and perfect,
Assured that He will not neglect.
With such kindness that God has shown,
And the love that pours from His throne;
Continue in remaining humble,
So you do not trip or stumble.
Your judgment in thought always should,
Be clear and brief as well as good;
For your thoughts should always be true,
Since the His Spirit is in you.
