A day after the day that I die~

I'd say I want to hear again Hank Williams cry~
I want here those oldest fiddles play once again
As they once played then way back when~
I'd love to again listen to Hank Williams
I want to here his voice just as he once sang-
I want to sit tapping my foot to his music
And sing along with all my heart~
If I may with Hank and joined by Charlie Pride
As the likes sang way back at my start~
Oh to heck with it bring along Marty as well
And Slim Whitman he could as well come-
Dolly .. Oh yes there's always another chair
Leave it with me , I'll think of some-
I want to share a beer with all of them
And sing my heart out as I do now~
Every loving crying country lyric
Till home does come that cows~
All those rhythms that possess my soul
I want it all loud n really and really tight~
I want to sing my bloody heart out lord
From morning until night~
Those songs they have all become me
The songs I've loved all my life-
They have carried me from birth till now
Through the good times and all the strife~
Well lets face it you did ask me
And I am only telling you-
Let me live but one more day
