Christmas Message

It's so amazing that after two thousand years we still happily
Celebrate the Lord's arrival calling it the Nativity
Reading the information about his parents travel to the city
To pay taxes at was expected of people doing that civic duty

On arrival the streets were so crowded and inns were heavily booked
So there was no place to rest no matter how hard they looked
And the lady was so heavy, perhaps feeling those contractions
Thus giving that notification, that the time was ripe for parturition

Predictions were that the world was expecting a king
But this was not the manner that they were all expecting
Because some of those who went to pay home in that day
Found them making a track to the king's palace gate.

As it was recorded that the only place that was available
Was what was considered then an insignificant stable?
Cradle was a manger, watched by all its inhabitants
Perhaps the only human elements around were the parents.

Could the events of this fist Christmas be a lesson to all of us?
Was the creator at that time making for human a sort of life's compass?
That whilst we are so concern with our situation based on status
Thus becoming so diverted from what should have been our focus.

That Christmas morning to those around and now today there was that subtle message
This have been re-enforced by many an occurrence throughout many a time's passage
That as a child we have no control of time, place, status or condition in which we are born
But should not let these factors dictate our pace and the direction we are going.

So those who sit back and think that there a impediment in the way
It's because you are the one who actually let them stay
Remember that savior came into this world in an estate that was lowly
But that did not stop him from performing his duty.
