On Your Wedding Day
There you are standing in front of me
telling me you are getting married
I hold it back from you
but there is a small jealousy I carry
I will miss you being always around
when I needed a friend
you always made me feel better
even if you acted like a clown
but for you on your wedding day
I wish for you a day to always remember
to always treasure to know you life is just beginning
and it will be bumpy but reveling in the thoughts
you are not alone no more you are married
I smile at you contented in my thoughts
because this is exactly how it was supposed to be
for you, hope these happy moments are never lost
but I know deep down in my heart
you have found something special, love for eternity.
