Blinded By Fear...Now I believe in this verse wholeheartedly! Proverbs 3: 6 We say: 'It's impossible!' God say's: 'All things are possible!' ******************** But I think I got lost in the moment...hence this poem! ******************** I love that verse, it says so much, so I have to now take that on! Believe in it as I do, get through this trial I face, then I've won! So teeth gritted quite firmly, I shall face this fear on Monday, Pray it all goes well! So I'll at least be ok for Christmas day? I'll go into that theatre feeling sick, full of the fear that I'm in now! keep in mind those words above, I'll get through it, but don't know how?! Fear does terrible things doesn't it? It can make our life miserable and sad, And I need to get rid of how I feel now, and maybe it won't be too bad? A month on my back in bed, what a nightmare, but I'd do it again, If it meant I wouldn't have to have this done, oh but it's a pain! Cos my specialist told me no, I have to go in and be fixed, ‘Oh heck, oh no!' I said, ‘my bottles gone and I'm all betwixed!' I don't want it done, I really don't, and I am full of fear and dread! So I'll keep in mind this, it may go wrong again, but I won't be dead! You know, I thought the other day, ‘if I get paralyzed my pain will be gone!' Well, the bottom half of my spine anyway, so either way, I guess I've won! Well not really, cos I'll be left like this! My sciatica's a painful mess, And I won't have any more relief for them, it's the way it goes, I guess. So I shall take on board the above scripture from the Bible, from God, And ask for His help, this Icon, but you know, He's a very busy bod! But I'm sure He will, cos my faith is endless in Him, And yep, no matter what, He'll help me to win! **************************************************** At least I'll be out of this bed at last!
