The Weeping Before©

~~~~Echoes Of Grandpa~~~~©
You've always been quite a trooper
Grandpa Willow,
you taught me such a lesson
how i admire you so.
Be strong you would whisper
and stand your ground,
don't let hard knocks
in life take you down.
But Mother Nature
had other plans it's true,
with one deep breath
she took you.
But your spirit
still lives on,
for you sway me to sleep
when things go wrong.
Now when Grandma Cherry
begins to weep,
your joyful song will echo
so when her time comes:
she too can sleep!
Grandma And Grandpa©
Grandpa Willow
so old but so wise,
you'll still be standing
long after i die.
You've been weeping away
in your room for so long,
i often wonder
how you stay so strong.
Way back in your childhood
when you were a boy,
you woke up at night
weeping tears of joy.
Now that you're grown
i'm able to see,
all of the wisdom
you brought to me.
You never let hard knocks
take you down,
you showed no fear
and stood your ground.
You taught me a lesson
that only the strong survive,
i just hope i'm half as brave
when i turn sixty five!
Now Grandma Cherry
with blossoms so frail,
many have stopped
to hear of your tale.
You wake up in spring
and how you let loose,
but you're fast asleep
before winter's abuse.
You leave behind
memories of your days in the sun,
all over your room
for time took every one.
But come again spring
you'll once again be,
full of such life
weeping tears of beauty!
~xtra xtra-read all about it~©
There grew weeping a cherry tree
where the spring arose,
with little buds all over beautifully
to happily please your nose.
When the spring went dry
and laid to rest,
the tree was stripped almost to die
for no longer dressed.
For the bright eyed spring
away did leap,
the little buds end their fling
while in their leaf cradles sleep.
Ever so silently with odors they commune,
and vow come spring to be in full bloom.
Thus they will awaken within an hour,
after given a refreshing warm shower.
Showing off their breathtaking....
pink robes nature chose,
finding a branch they will strike a pose!
