UNFORGETABLE PAIN
When it takes over your body
Then you know
That pain is so intense
Your day is like an oblivion
Your body tells you it's shutting down!
But you already know this -
There is no help, no lasting cure
Only sympathy and cries
Now the waiting game begins
The time ticks by slowly
You want the hours to go faster
To rid you of the festering
Prayers and hymns are no more than song
For a life full of bitterness
For a life that was taken away
By the pain
He didn't deserve, but it poured
Down on him like rain!
