Praise God
The Lord is patient and kind,
Merciful and compassionate;
He always eases my mind,
And humbly appreciate.
God is ready to forgive,
Always no matter the time;
So I am not held captive,
By any guilt of the crime.
The Lord is good onto all,
Compassion what He has made;
Picking you up when you fall,
Giving answers what you prayed.
His kingdom is eternal,
Endures each generation;
Of pure light not nocturnal,
He is our salvation.
The eyes of all look towards Him,
Giving us hope when we fail;
To smile when it looks grim,
Making danger to curtail.
All creatures at His command,
While being fair and just;
God will give a helping hand,
The only One you can trust.
For the Lord is always near,
Faithful to those who respect;
He fills the needs those who fear,
And is willing to protect.
