 Just Tinsel Me Christmas
Becoming today, a whirl wind of sorts
Crazy the feel, a break to abort
Rushing to make purchase, the last of Mohican's
A break is whats needed, recliner to sleep in

No tinsel here, not one strand for you
It's all about others if last thing you do
Is think of yourself as is second nature
At least in theory, giving heartfelt creature

The bumps and the grinds to pave a way
Ridiculous shopping, wallet empty paid
Price for the season just one more reason
To sit back relax, selfish moment pleasing

Feet have swelled up, the line seems forever
To cashier calling, next! worst can't get no better
So wait patiently for your turn to say
Finally fortune came to you this day

The scanning of products purchased with intent
To bring to a close, errands Heaven sent
For upon feet your nerves nearer racking
It's almost over, beneath tree ever stacking

Your mission accomplished, it's time to now rest
As night before Christmas has ended your quest
At least for the year, at least till the tinsel
Someone will remove, while asleep on brow wrinkled
