MY FIRST FREN-GLISH POEM

I long to compose in English
Some day a very small poem.
Even though they call me foolish,
I will not avoid this problem.

Writing in French is so easy
But I'm some where misunderstood.
Believe me ! It's not by envy,
I do respect my neigborhood.

Please, help me to make a good start
Using this beautiful language.
Don't ask me to be very smart,
To see your eyes reading this page.

In fact, is there a difference
Between a french and english song ?
Let us use our common sens
And be slow to say: "You are wrong ! "
