I know Because I Love You
I Know because I Love
I know your smile and I know your frown
I know what you do when I'm not around
I know your laugh from a mile away
And I know when you are having a bad day
I know what you would say about any particular thing
I know the tone of your voice when you sing
I know your scent, I know your taste
I know your favorite type of toothpaste
I know your shirt size, pants size too
I can think up a situation and know what you'd do
I can think of a place and know if you'd go there
I can even pick your size and type of underwear
I know you like to dress up once in a while
So I can pick out the right shoes. Size and style
If I pick up fast food, I know what to get for you
I know your favorite sweets and you favorite drink too
I can pick out a movie and get just your type
I know what T.V. show you'll fall asleep on each night
I can go to Starbucks and order your cold drink
I know your hot drink too, although I need time to think
I know our height, I know your weight
I know what you love and what you hate
I have known you for quite a while
And I know that this poem will make you smile
Do you know why I know so much about you?
Because I know I don't want to live without you
Of all that I know and could speak of
I know that you have taught me real love
