Available To You

Available To You

I know times get difficult and days get so long
Situations get irritating and things go wrong
People act crazy and some like to play games
They might talk about you and scandalize your name
The job gets difficult you almost want to quit
Your legs get so tired, that you just need to sit
You're bouncing all over just like a rubber ball
Can't take a break, but have to take this call
A customer has a problem they are really upset,
10 hours have passed but you can't leave yet
Someone called in and they were supposed to close
There are things to be done in ways no one else knows
All the while you are wondering  if you're going to have a job
As you stand taking insults from some want to be rich snob
Where is your silver lining, what is the good in this
Forget about calgon, how about a hug and kiss
A foot massage and a back rub that would be the key
A hot bubble bath and a cold glass of iced tea
Two ears to listen as you vent it all away
And a familiar soft voice saying, ”I love you today”
Not available to all, this much we know is true
But smile for now knowing it's available to you
