It Becomes You
Well before you came to be
A plan was formed to set man free
A simple plan made more complex
By who, guess who, by man no less
Less of Him who dwells in you
More than less how sad yet true
Love stayed the course running the race
Before the world, will kept the pace
Still puzzled is the human race
Becoming you he stepped and took
The bullet wounds and hateful looks
Before His own as you disown
Answers to what keeps alone
Behind each mask on every face
That's worn this day a longed embrace
Is His to have if you would come
Admit your need to know The One
Answer to, unanswered prayers
Unspoken, yes you too player
Not of sport but of the world
Cursing wrath to sky unfurled
Yet still LOVE reigns and rains unto
Life given to hold on to
