Omnipotent GodGod is not holding any grudge, But He has sent His Son to judge; All of the people that are here, Specially those who do not fear. Christ has come to convict therein, Those who have the ungodly sin; For all of the ungodly things, That the earthly temptation brings. As well as immoral things done, And times of God that they had shun; Along with the harsh things they said, And blasphemy their lips have spread. They have a wretched attitude, With being arrogant and rude; Following their own desires, Of what temptation admires. Use your most holy faith to grow, So you will spiritually know; Pray onto the Holy Spirit, For His help you should solicit. Show mercy to those who may doubt, Tell what the Gospel is about; Save by snatching from the fire, Through their penance you acquire. The Omnipotent God you face, Upheld by His love and His grace; Can be guarding you from your fall, If willing to have Christ to call. Copyright © 2011 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
