The Christmas Gift
The usual saying is that Christmas is for giving
Some too use it for experimenting as well as learning
This moment too can be use to obtain some economic teaching
Because many may good too far with their meager financing
In some areas they have such a wide array of lights on display
Some of the arrangements have become the talk of the day
Then coupled with all those assortment of decoration
Will truly attest to the dedication taken in the preparation
On seeing that made me take some time out to reflect
About a Christmas time that I most certainly cannot forget
How you too time and we above and beyond all measure
To set my Christmas ablaze with a fire fueled by such a desire
Making my customary approach to the house the night
In each tree, shrub and upon each flower was light
But inside the house there was such a great contrast
Why was there light flashing on and off so fast.
On opening the door there was the mistletoe so much aglow
And you clothes made such a pattern on the floor
But as the light flash, I could see you silhouette
But there was so much more in store for me to get
There you were standing in a lighted circle
Depicting such a picture of such beauty when the light sparkle
All gift wrapped in pretty paper, and in the head a was bow
The accentuation of the figure just made my desire flow.
Nearby too were two glasses and a bottle of wine
And those word in light written saying ” Darling I am ThIne”
I am your gift of Christmas present, here to make your moment pleasant
So come on over and unwrap you gift this very instant.
So I said a gift that has filled me with such bliss, how can I resist
Don't think me to be remiss; I can even match you in this
So I spread my hands out saying let me be the Christmas tree
Come my little gift, come over and settle under me.
