CHRISTMAS WILL ALWAYS BE CHRISTMASThe stars and lights that shine, Elegant balls that glitter, Heraldic angels so divine, Christmas Trees, so green and tall as ever. Beneath are dainty boxes, We open on Christmas eve, The silent prayers we murmur For all the blessings we receive. Savory dishes served heartily, With the best ham and cheese, The laughters and cheers in the family We surely don't want to miss. Christmas carols that we sing, The yuletide greetings we can never do without, Warm wishes that we bring To friends and neighbors we care about. All these and more Amaze the child that's in me; Christmas will always be Christmas, The season I love so dearly. But amidst all these lavish preparations Is an adorable child born in the manger; His humble birth is the reason for our celebration, Jesus, our King and Redeemer! The warmth of love that lingers In the cold and starry night; Christmas will always be Christmas, Peaceful, blissful and bright.
