'' Your Selflessness We Will Never Forget ''
Another Christmas doesn't time fly,
You've been away now for three long years,
It's strange but true but we still ask why,
For you we still shed our tears.
Is it true in Heaven there's no fighting or greed,
A Paradise where angels abound,
Where nobody cares about colour or creed,
No racism or bigotry to be found.
One day we'll all be together as one,
Until then we'll be thinking of you,
Your achievements will never be outdone,
To your family you always stayed true.
Your dignity and courage we'll forever commend,
They both inspire and will always remain,
You showed no fear right through to the end,
Never once did we hear you complain.
Our memories of you remain fresh in our hearts,
That's the wonder of the Human soul,
We retain these whenever a loved one departs,
In our lives they play a pivotal role.
You're back home in Glasgow with your Mum and Dad,
Saint Peters is where you're now at rest,
We hope and pray that made you glad,
I thought it would be for the best.
On this special day as we celebrate your life,
To you we'll forever be in debt,
Through all the adversity and endless strife,
