My Dear this is for you:
and what's taking that horse so long?
I wish that horse on my roof above
would gallop along with my love,
for my pardner on his steed suddenly
rode off to heaven without me.
My desire morning and night
is to be your cowgirl without a fight,
your charming presence is getting stronger
i shouldn't have to wait much longer.
Your picture of this beautiful stream
i see in many a dream,
we walked along its path just last year
i look at it and see you so clear.
You proudly took the photo
knowing i'd add things to help it grow,
making it part of me and you
and to share it is something i have to do.
Now i've got rough traveling stomach pains
but i won't let go of the reins,
if i could just loosen all the tension
saddle up and ride to Heaven.
I gotta lay down a spell
for i'm not feeling well,
hopefully i'll sleep it off Sweetheart
then our journey can soon once again start!
