He opened his wingsMy grandfather slept, as if he had slept for ages He stepped heavenly, in the road of grace His pen, left alone all his lonely pages And his eyelids were closed on his faded face As the sun was sleeping gently in the west His spirit flied softly under Lord's bless His soul flied leaving his body to rest And he left his body like an old dress I did not see to where he vanished so fast Yet his body was slept and gently lied His memories ran to his future from past He opened his wings and flied from deep inside Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
