Stereotyping
There are moments when making a stop at a shop or a store
How quickly can the attention there on you get suddenly pore
Thus making you feel uncomfortable getting that type of reaction
Not that you are any celebrity, but because of your complexion
That negative bias affixed because of that deep pigmentation
Could have been the prime responsibility for that type of action
Because there and then is that preconceived myth
That somewhere deep inside you there is that tendency to shoplift
Then on flanking around there on that screen of the CCTV
Guess who is seen on that screen and it seems quite regularly
Would not cause some concern and thus a feeling that is uneasy
Because there you are being stereotyped quite needlessly
But as human and with feeling that can cultivate some embarrassment
At can be construed as what can be a bit of benign harassment
Then it can be multiplied that those guards trusted with security
Also making surveillance of you as part of their current duty
Why do some people take such great delight to stereotype?
Deduction laced by race, this conclusion cannot be right
Because whilst all that attention is focus on a particular person
Another person make quite good of that little diversion.
Some places have lost affluent persons as first customers
Because of the behavior to them by some of its workers
Who on seeing them soon stereotyped and were very condescending
And so with little hesitation they went to the competitors and did their shopping.
