Shepard's Watch

One cold winter's night
while watching the sheep
it was as any other time
trying hard not to fall asleep.

Then out of no where
in the third watch of night
an angel stood before them
as He came out of flight.

They fell to their knees in fear
Gabriel said do not be afraid
come and see where our Savior
in a manger He is laid.

Host of angels covered the sky
praising God as Heaven's choir began to sing
they came and worship the place where
where they found the new born King.
