 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

GUILLOTINE

Music slowly gave life
and I glanced myself dancing
upon exaggerated ivory keys

They were just above a misty lake
enshrouded with a thick fog
and fireflies lit the stage

Metallic fairies hovered
glitter fell from their wings

A midnight orchestra played
among this surreal glimpse
I stood in shock and awe

Pink flamingos entered in waltz
and orchards bloomed before me

Celtic sirens filled the air
and an sadness loomed
upon a silent hill

Monks army across an emerald walk
atop this mossy mound
a giant guillotine fell

Without words I became
their uninvited guest
with shallow breath

There within an instrumental dream
I would fall to my death
