Getting Together
To all people and especially to families the New Year will soon be here
Take time out to and look at ways and means to work on a roster
And make it a very integral part of the family's agenda
To find time where you all could be in one place all together
See how those forces of what is called a better standard of living
Good job, better pay and so those house and rooms get extending
That soon we will be living in homes and days not even speaking or seeing
Each other, is this the manner in which a family should be living?
So go purposeful and look at the realty and gravity of this matter
Spend time with each other, take that walk and explore nature
Talk about the how the birds and the bees, and their important to the flower
Because that process of pollination take its species that much further.
Have those picnics, smell that salty air there by the beach
There you can sit talk and in the process each other teach
Talk about the clouds and relations to the tides, the clamber up rocks
See why they are jagged, and also too look at the various species of mollusks
Make time for a day when all electronic games are put away
This is the time when those family games will be played
Top of the list will be a word game which it called scrabble
So that they will be introduced to new words, to used in discussions that are verbal
Also slot in to watch those television programs together
Then sit and have a good discussion of some aspect together
Try to critique analyze about what it was trying to depict
These can only work out over time for a positive effect
Partners make sure you listen to and find time for each other
A very good talk makes the relationship deeper and stronger
And whilst too you are engrossed no matter how intense the matter
Always find away to inject some humor to evoke a bit of laughter.
