Poetic Verses
Moonlight
There was certain period when the night was bright
That was because of the cycle of the moonlight
Then on a dark night one will see too from a far
That darting light as one observes a pitching star
But times have changed and there is such light
Most places today there nights are illuminated very bright
People now as their business and hurrying by
Seem not to realize that above them is the sky
The presence of the moon too is now barely noticeable
Because it seem to the overwhelmed by ones that are artificial
Now this light so golden and also so romantically beautiful
Appears to be wasted; its light no being now relied upon by today's people
Have those places whose nights were lit up artificially all the time
Does their statistics show any improvement in the state of their crimes?
Because a person sitting in the darkness can easily see
The movements of a person in the light quite easily
There was an era, when lovers used the light of the moon
To take those walks, talks and yes how those poetic words boom
How in that phase they can describe those shades of its light
But the full moon to them somehow brought such great delight.
Parent too should tell their children as a form of education
About the moon and that process about its illumination
Also about those times when it is obliterated, such a spectacle
As it's an eclipse which is usually predictable and when happens reportable.
