I have learnt to contain the fire within me
though to others it may seem I have lost all control
for the anger inside still rages relentless
when the truth is forsaken for a lie we all know.
I have learnt to be restful while the world keeps on burning
for the truth is my life, will do nothing for change
the fires of hell will keep on consuming
till the earth will be scorched and covered with flame.
I now wait out my time, always hoping for good things
optimistic it seems till the end will be nigh
maybe tomorrow will see the fires all stop burning
and a truth we have longed for so as not to feel denied.
