Blown Away

My laundry hung out to dry
when a strong wind blew them up high.
I ran inside to escape the breeze
while my bloomers landed near the trees.
My shirts and pants were on their own
where flowers wilted where they'd grown.
Structures fell, bloomers took flight
into the air and out of sight.
