Sweating Sorrow
Cries alone heard just by you
This walk again, again walked through
Becomes the path you stray again
Missing the point nearing Godsend
You paint yourself into a corner
Instead of saying today you're gonna
Kick sorrow upon it's ass
Become now first not be the last
It's in your hands to sweat no more
It's in your mind, the inner core
To make headway past sea of sorrow
Set sail today charting tomorrows
Don't mourn the dead that lived and breathed
Their time on Earth was His conceived
Before goodbye became of two
He had reason to see you through
This sweat of heart and brow endured
Delays the good also the cure
That only one concocts this day
It was to be all this, His way
So do not lean on things not here
Love what was but do not fear
For loss is but a fleeting moment
Upon the heart choosing to own it
2012, a new year, a new you
