Gift Of a Smile
A smile is worth much more
than some may realize.
Even during a personal struggle
it can calm the heart that cries.
Facial expression means a lot
when "How are you?" isn't said,
it's just as good to greet somebody
with a silent smile instead.
You don't have to say a word
to the person you may see.
an honest smile shared
is the best gift there can be.
You can change a bad day
where everything goes wrong.
