Not to be Discouraged
Our bodies are made of clay,
That God is molding in His way;
But letting us have our views,
With the treasure of the Good News.
For those that truly do believe,
They will be the ones to receive;
Awesome power of this treasure,
Too infinite for to measure.
Every way we are troubled,
Through this life keeping us puzzled;
But we are not crushed what occurs,
For the salvation that anchors.
So the anchors are faith and hope,
That encourages you to cope;
And will make you to persevere,
As long as you remain sincere.
We are frustrated but not quit,
Because of faith we do commit;
Not to be acting like the fools,
Who persecutes and ridicules.
Death is at work and so is life,
Amongst the toils and the strife;
For it is through Christ what we seek,
And we believe in what we speak.
So we will not be discouraged,
Because our faith acknowledged;
As we are renewed day by day,
Persisting to trust and obey.
