the holidays are over
a feeling of sadness lingers
the festivities have passed
good times, family, friends, and fun
decorations all put away
time to move on to something else
my feet feel cold tonight

winter has arrived

we welcome all seasons

we will feel brand new again
just like a new pair of shoes
