Never Published Before....
A poem i wrote for Michael Jackson
truly a lost soul,
who trying to be himself lived in ridicule!
Spoken/Sung to the tune of Elton John's-
Candle In The Wind
Goodbe MJ:
though i never met you,
i feel sorry for your trials.
You lived your life
the only way you knew.
Your troubles were coming
out of the woodwork
as you rose up to fame.
You were on a rollercoaster
while the public picked your brain.
It seems to me you lived in such a way,
burning the candle at both ends.
Never knowing what hit you,
while going around life's bends.
I wish you had it better
but fate had other plans.
Life had in store for you,
too many harsh demands.
Hardship was plentiful,
the bad outweighed the good.
And you gave it all you had,
but often more than you could.
When you left this world,
you were still hounded in your rest.
To somehow find peace,
is your last request.
