ON MY OWN






ON MY OWN






I stand alone I know that now
That`s because I won`t kowtow,
So this is how it has to be
Me on my own can`t you see.





I won`t do things just to fit in
That would be false and it`s a sin
I try to show just who I am
I don`t nor won`t live a sham.





So on my own then I must stand
At least I`m at no one`s command,
My mind is my own that`s for sure
My values remain intact and secure.
