 *The Ghost Blimp*
Photobucket

From the shades of WW 11 the past is retold
This legend is curious there's an unsolved end
It's shrouded in mystery where 2 men remain
Lost in history's pages that's hard to transcend

A secret mission was planned at that time
The American crew were choosen with care
To spy on the Japanese was their ultimate goal
In subs. they drew closer and lingered near

A blimp was the vessel of choice to be used
It flew out that morning, conditions all clear
2 crewmen of good charactors and much zeal
Reported to base that the weather was fair

In the sky far above the large blimp flew
Two happy crewmen had many joke to share
In the space of a moment the blimp fell fast
On the busy street it crashed down with a flare

A peculiar situation confronted the world
The two crewmen were nowhere to be found
After one year they were pronounced dead
This sad legend grew in leaps and bounds

The ghost blimp was put to flight again
It became the
          GoodYear blimp seen by all
