Written at 15 years old (later on this inspired me to write a poem called Purple)
If we were all red we would all be angry
If we were all blue we'd be depressed
Blue needs yellow to revive then it changes to green and they're back on the go
Red needs a little white to calm down, maybe then a spec of black to pump it up and become something different
Everyone needs to be different
We can't all be the same
Or then life would just be a giant blur
Nobody can help anyone if we were all blue
Nobody would need help if we were all yellow
Everyone would be afraid if we were all red
This is life and we all need to understand this is how it works
If life was perfect it would be all too strange and weird
It would be lifeless from all the boredom we would face because there would be no mistakes to help us learn
There would be no goals for us to make
It wouldn't be a life if life wasn't every colour under the sun.
